A video. Just for fun.
I know what you're thinking...two posts in one day MUST mean that Julianne is procrastinating. Well. That just might be true. Or maybe I'm just inspired. You decide.

If only we had a bigger house, maybe we could get one of these.

Artwork and Scrunchy Faces
Here is a little something I made for Jon. We are in a period of discernment, trying to figure out some next steps in our lives. Sometimes it can be overwhelming as I imagine all of the possible options. And so this was a creative outlet as I've been processing all of that.
Around the edges are these words:
and a cord of three strands is not so easily broken,
so i will stay tied to you
and we will weather whatever storms might come
not because we are exceedingly strong,
but because we are together, aligned, rooted.
and over all these things, put on love,
which binds them all together in perfect unity.
"I know a love that will not let me go,
my heart is bound and happy to be so."

Jon is working on a presentation about non-compliant patients. He wanted a good picture illustrate non-compliancy...so Laurel complied...

Snippets
So, these days I know it will be a productive day when I have showered, put on deodorant, AND brushed my teeth before noon. Well, today I have not only done those things, but I have also exercised, cleaned the kitchen, and started washing diapers....and it's not even 10:30.

Yesterday we were at the pool for Laurel's swim class. Jon had Laurel, and I went to sit on the bleachers. A woman said to me, "Is that your little girl in the pink swim suit?" "Yes." "I'm sure you hear this all the time..." (I am getting ready to say thanks, because I'm sure she's going to say that Laurel is beautiful) "but she looks exactly like you." What? No, I don't hear that all the time--in fact, the only person who has really told me that is my Aunt Barb. It was fun to hear from a stranger!

A few weeks ago Laurel and I rushed to get out the door to catch a bus. I scrambled trying to find enough change and finally found it--mostly in quarters. When we stepped onto the bus, the driver wouldn't let us pay. "Someone has already paid your fare." I scanned the passengers on the bus, trying to find someone I knew. I saw no one familiar. I don't know who paid my fare, but it was greatly appreciated.

Okay, off to get something done!
